ROOTED Kids Program
Rooted is Sycamore’s flagship program—a comprehensive holistic, school-based initiative informed by learnings from cognitive, behavioral, and mental health fields.
Rooted Kids is designed to help students build strong connective pathways in the brain leading to improved focus, emotional regulation, behavior, and overall developmental growth.
During this 12-14 week program, students and teachers will learn the neuroscience behind our behaviors and emotions, providing a wide range of tools and skills, giving children agency and confidence to work through big feelings and everyday challenges.
The Rooted program supports students and helps lead to:
Improved focus and emotional regulation
Increased healthy behavior and self-awareness
Increased academic growth
Stronger classroom engagement and student-teacher connection
Rooted works by supporting the development of positive neural connective pathways, giving students the foundation for a strong, rooted sense of mind, body, heart, and self.
